Job summary

Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. is seeking an Ultra High Purity (UHP) Project Engineer to lead complex UHP gas delivery system projects for semiconductor and electronics clients in the Greater Phoenix area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or related fields.
• Minimum 5 years of project engineering experience.
• Experience managing contractors and tracking schedule and budget.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic understanding of CAD/drafting.
• Financial analysis capability and technical capability tounder process and customer technology.

Responsibilities

• Build contractor RFQs, evaluate bids, and manage contractor scope and timelines.
• Prepare technical proposals, cost estimates, and bills of materials.
• Build equipment layouts and system flow schematic drawings.
• Support commercial sales teams by translating customer requirements into engineered solutions.
• Monitor project progress against schedule, budget, and contract requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across internal engineering, sales, and operations, and external customers and suppliers, located in diverse geographies.
• Work with lead engineers and participate in mentoring and training.
