Job summary

Truist seeks a Structured Lending Advisor to partner with Wealth Advisors and deliver highly customized loan structures for high net worth clients. You will manage credit processes end-to-end, from deal screening to closing, in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.

You will analyze borrower financials, lead deal negotiations, and collaborate across risk, legal, and compliance teams to ensure profitable outcomes while maintaining fiduciary standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business-related field or equivalent education and training.
• Five years of training and experience related to Lending Advisor role.
• Experience evaluating financial statements to structure complex, custom credits.
• Familiarity with complex client structures and wealth lending solutions.
• Excellent oral and written communication; strong client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate deal lifecycle from proposal to loan closing.
• Serve as primary contact for Wealth Advisors and internal partners.
• Escalate backlogs to move transactions forward.
• Build relationships within the advisor team and deliver planning-based solutions.
• Structure highly customized, complex loan structures within policy and risk guidelines.
• Support credit execution with deal memos and information gathering for origination.
• Collaborate with credit risk, counsel, and compliance to ensure timely delivery.
• Monitor market trends and advise on profitability and risk in client portfolios.
