Navylifesw is seeking personnel for janitorial duties, including operating floor scrubbers and vacuums, and maintaining cleaning equipment. Tasks include blinds, light bulbs, fixtures, moving furniture, beds and linens.

The role emphasizes thorough cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, restocking soap and towels, and following written and spoken instructions to perform duties safely.

Formación

• Ability to read signs and follow simple oral and written instructions.
• Ability to safely operate powered cleaning equipment.
• Willingness to perform basic maintenance on equipment and learn MSDS.

This job involves operating heavy-duty floor scrubbers, vacuums, and maintaining equipment. Key responsibilities include cleaning or replacing venetian blinds, changing light bulbs, and washing fixtures. Duties also extend to moving heavy furniture, making beds, and changing linens. A major part of the role is detailed cleaning, disinfecting restrooms (including toilets, sinks, and mirrors), and restocking supplies like soap and paper towels to ensure a clean and fully sanitized environment. Knowledge and skill sufficient to read signs, follow simple oral and written instructions.

Ability to work safely while moving lightweight objects.

Ability to use powered equipment and perform minor maintenance on this equipment.

Ability to learn Material Safety Data Sheets.
