Job summary

State of South Carolina in Greenwood is seeking a custodial worker to perform routine cleaning and housekeeping across campus facilities. You will clean offices, rooms, hallways, restrooms, lobbies, elevators, and stairways, and maintain floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, waxing and polishing.

You will vacuum carpets and dispose of waste, ensuring a clean and orderly environment for students and staff.

Qualifications

• Cleaning experience required.
• Commercial cleaning experience preferred.
• WorkReady SC Career Readiness Certificate preferred.
• A valid driver's license and safe driving history are required.
• Ability to understand and carry out routine oral and written instructions.
• Physically able to work off of a ladder and carry mop and bucket up and down stairs.
• Ability to operate listed cleaning equipment and interact with students and University personnel.
