Job summary

All Aviation Jobs seeks an experienced UH-60L OFT instructor/operator to support a high-priority aviation training program in Florida. The role covers simulator operations, mission scenarios, and comprehensive instruction for Army and customer standards.

The candidate will coordinate scheduling, conduct inspections, and deliver evaluations while maintaining training SOPs and reports. A strong background in military aviation and IOS is required, with willingness for extended onsite work.

Qualifications

• Extensive military aviation experience.
• Certified Instructor Pilot.
• 3+ years UH-60 OFT instructor/operator/pilot.
• IOS (Instructor Operator Station) experience.
• Strong knowledge of UH-60 flight ops and simulator training.
• 10 years in supervisory or program management or simulation environments.
• Experience developing, delivering, and evaluating aviation training programs.
• Strong writing, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate with leadership and customers.
• Ability to plan and manage schedules and staffing.
• Ability to pass FBI background check.
• Valid passport and driver's license.
• Willingness for extended onsite assignment.

Responsibilities

• Provide UH-60L OFT instructor and operator support for training.
• Coordinate simulator scheduling with customers.
• Conduct simulator pre-flight and post-flight inspections and readiness checks.
• Instruct in aircraft systems, instrument flight, mission scenarios, and flight management.
• Operate the IOS including fault insertion and weather control.
• Deliver flight instruction, examinations, and training per regulations.
• Train pilots to Army or customer standards.
• Support day, night, NVG, instrument and terrain training.
• Review pilot flight planning for accuracy and provide instruction.
• Conduct post-flight debriefings, grading, and evaluations.
• Provide simulator IO qualification training for unit aviators.
• Serve as SME for aircrew training manuals and procedures.
• Develop and maintain training SOPs, curricula, tutorials, and POIs.
• Evaluate simulator performance and suggest improvements.
• Prepare simulator utilization, scheduling, and training reports.
• Maintain aircrew training records and flight-hour documentation.
• Support demonstrations and briefings for customers.
