Job summary

Leidos is seeking a UH-60 Blackhawk Instructor Pilot to support the Army National Guard ATSOS program in Marana, AZ at WAATS. You will train student pilots, perform instruction, and ensure ATP compliance with AR 95-1 and POIs.

Qualifications include FAA pilot certificates, a valid medical, and instructor qualifications. Expect a challenging role with contractor duties and security requirements in a military aviation environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma with 8 years’ of applicable experience or Bachelor's Degree with 4 years’ of experience.
• Instructor Pilot experience with minimum of 250 military IP Flight Hours and/or 2 yrs IP experience.
• USAACE/AATS qualified IP in type aircraft for which duties will be performed.
• ITC or ABIC qualification or completion of ABIC course within 12 months of start date.
• FAA Commercial Pilot or Airline Transport Pilot Certificate.
• FAA Second Class flight physical required.
• Experience as SP, IE or IP in OASS school or equivalent.
• Must meet instructor qualification requirements IAW TR 350-10 and TR 350-70.
• Contractors must adhere to DCMA INST 8210.1D.
• Must obtain DoD Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain training records for formal courses and ATP progress.
• Provide instruction and evaluation to student pilots per approved courses.
• Conduct daily academic instruction of approved POI.
• Facilitate pre-mission planning and after-action reviews.
• Complete ATP requirements IAW applicable regulations and participate in No-notice evaluations.
