Employment Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire Our client is seeking an experienced UH-60L Operational Flight Trainer (OFT) Instructor/Operator to support a high-priority aviation training program.
This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned UH-60 Instructor Pilot with simulator and Instructor Operator Station experience to step into a mission-critical training environment.

What You'll Do
- Provide UH-60L OFT instructor and operator support for aviation training activities
- Coordinate simulator scheduling, training requirements, and utilization with supported aviation customers
- Conduct simulator pre-flight and post-flight inspections, operational readiness checks, and maintenance test flights
- Provide instruction in aircraft systems, instrument flight, mission scenarios, flight management systems, and emergency procedures
- Operate the Instructor Operator Station (IOS), including fault insertion, weather control, Air Traffic Control services, and mission scenario support
- Deliver flight instruction, in-flight evaluation, examinations, and training in accordance with applicable aviation publications and regulations
- Train pilots to applicable U.S. Army or customer standards
- Support day, night, Night Vision Goggles (NVG), instrument, terrain flight, tactics, gunnery, emergency procedures, and aircraft systems training
- Review pilot flight planning for accuracy and provide instruction, critique, and mission support before simulator events
- Conduct post-flight debriefings, grading, and written evaluations in accordance with applicable Aircrew Training Manuals
- Provide simulator I/O qualification training and evaluations for unit aviators as required
- Serve as a subject matter expert for aircrew training manuals, aviation procedures, training techniques, and simulator operations
- Develop and maintain flight simulator training SOPs, courseware, curricula, tutorials, and Programs of Instruction
- Evaluate simulator performance and recommend software or hardware improvements
- Prepare simulator utilization, scheduling, and training reports
- Maintain accurate aircrew training records and simulator flight-hour documentation
- Support simulator demonstrations and briefings for customer and government representatives
What You Bring
- Significant military aviation experience
- Certified Instructor Pilot
- 3+ years of UH-60 OFT Instructor/Operator/Pilot experience
- Instructor Operator Station (IOS) experience
- Strong knowledge of UH-60 flight operations, aircraft systems, and simulator-based training
- 10 years of experience in supervisory, program management, large-group management, or simulation industry environments
- Experience developing, delivering, and evaluating aviation training programs
- Strong writing, interpersonal communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal leadership and customer management
- Ability to plan and manage schedules and staffing requirements
- Ability to successfully complete an FBI background check
- Valid passport and driver's license
- Flexibility to support an extended onsite assignment
