Job summary

The National Guard seeks an UH-60 Utility Helicopter Repairer to supervise and perform maintenance on Black Hawk helicopters, ensuring safety and readiness for missions.

You will learn engine disassembly, airframe work, hydraulic, fuel and electrical system repairs, and participate in a 25-week training path including Basic Combat Training and Advanced Individual Training.

This role offers hands-on skills with potential civilian career paths in aerospace and government agencies.

Qualifications

• Maintain and service UH-60 Black Hawk aircraft
• Remove/install subsystems like engines and rotors
• Diagnose and troubleshoot aircraft systems

Responsibilities

• Remove and install aircraft subsystem assemblies such as engines, rotors, gearboxes, transmissions and mechanical flight controls
• Service and lubricate aircraft and subsystems
• Prepare aircraft for inspections and maintenance checks
• Assist in diagnosing/troubleshooting
