Job summary

DC Army National Guard seeks a UH-60 Utility Helicopter Repairer to help sustain Black Hawk readiness. You will supervise and perform maintenance, inspections, and servicing to keep aircraft safe and mission-ready.

Training includes Basic Combat Training and Advanced Individual Training, with paid work experience and tuition assistance through the Montgomery GI Bill, preparing you for civilian aviation careers.

Qualifications

• Applicant should have strong math and mechanical aptitude with the ability to learn aircraft maintenance.
• Ability to use hand and power tools and read/mechanics-related materials.
• Must meet Army National Guard enlistment criteria and be able to pass the physical.

Responsibilities

• Remove and install aircraft subsystem assemblies such as engines, rotors, gearboxes, transmissions and mechanical flight controls.
• Service and lubricate aircraft and subsystems.
• Prepare aircraft for inspections and maintenance checks.
• Assist in diagnosing/troubleshooting.
