Job summary

United States Army Reserve seeks a Helicopter Repairer to maintain UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters, ensuring readiness for missions. Responsibilities include removing/installing subsystems, servicing aircraft, and preparing aircraft for inspections. Training is 10 weeks of Basic Combat Training and 15 weeks of Advanced Individual Training, with on‑the‑job instruction.

Applicants should be U.S. citizens, 17–40, with a HS diploma or GED, and pass background/medical screening and the ASVAB. U.S.

Qualifications

• Age between 17–40 years.
• Citizen or Permanent Resident of the United States.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Submit to background and medical screening.
• Pass ASVAB test.

Responsibilities

• Remove and install aircraft subsystem assemblies (engines, rotors, gearboxes, transmissions, flight controls).
• Service and lubricate aircraft and subsystems.
• Prepare aircraft for inspections and maintenance checks.
• Assist in diagnosing and troubleshooting.
