Job summary

DC Army National Guard seeks a UH-60 Utility Helicopter Repairer to supervise and perform maintenance on Black Hawk helicopters, ensuring aircraft remain safe and ready to fly for tomorrow’s missions.

You’ll handle inspections, service, and maintenance of aircraft and subsystems, gaining skills in engine work, airframe repair, hydraulics, and electrical systems while earning a paycheck and benefiting from tuition assistance and other programs.

Qualifications

Must be at least a junior in high school or have a high school diploma or GED.
Must be between 17 and 35 years old.
Must be able to pass a physical exam and meet legal and moral standards.
Military enlistment in the Army National Guard.

Responsibilities

Remove and install aircraft subsystem assemblies such as engines, rotors, gearboxes, transmissions and mechanical flight controls.
Service and lubricate aircraft and subsystems.
Prepare aircraft for inspections and maintenance checks.
Assist in diagnosing/troubleshooting.
