Job summary

VetJobs is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic (UH-60) to join our Honolulu team. You will perform advanced maintenance, inspection, troubleshooting, repair, and modification of UH-60 Black Hawk aircraft, focusing on airframes, powerplant systems, and related components.

This on-site role requires US citizenship and a strong background with UH-60 platforms. You will apply technical data, manuals, drawings, and shop procedures, document actions in logs, and mentor junior technicians.

Qualifications

• High School/GED or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of experience working with UH-60 aircraft.
• Must be US citizen.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced maintenance, inspection, troubleshooting, repair, and modification of UH-60 Black Hawk aircraft, airframes, systems, components, and powerplant-related systems.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, remove, replace, adjust, and install UH-60 aircraft mechanical components and assemblies in accordance with applicable technical manuals and maintenance procedures.
• Diagnose complex aircraft malfunctions and determine appropriate corrective actions using comprehensive knowledge of UH-60 airframe, powerplant, rotor, drivetrain, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
• Provide advanced technical troubleshooting assistance and maintenance expertise to engineers, customers, supervisors, and other maintenance personnel.
• Coordinate and prioritize maintenance activities to meet operational requirements, production goals, and established aircraft delivery schedules.
