Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic II – UH60 in Georgia to troubleshoot malfunctions in aircraft systems and perform repairs and inspections on helicopters."

The role requires hands-on maintenance of engines, accessories, and structural components, plus strict adherence to maintenance manuals, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. The candidate should meet the minimum license and experience requirements and be capable of obtaining necessary security clearance.

Qualifications

• Valid up-to-date A&P license or equivalent aviation maintenance experience.
• Two years aviation maintenance experience and three years rotary wing experience with UH60 MDS.
• Experience with logbooks, military publications, ULLS-A(E).
• Ability to obtain US Government security clearance (NAC-I).

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot malfunctions in aircraft systems including structure, landing gear, flight surfaces and controls.
• Repair, replace, and rebuild aircraft components using hand and power tools.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled inspections and testing on engines and accessories.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and comply with safety and regulatory requirements.
