Job summary

Trans Aero is seeking experienced UH-60 pilots to join our team for the 2026 season. Pilots will perform fire suppression, construction, and other external load operations using a long line up to 200 feet.

You will plan and execute flight assignments, ensure aircraft inspections and discrepancies are corrected or properly deferred per FAA regulations, and supervise the field support crew.

Qualifications

• S-70 Type Rating is required.
• Carded or able to be carded in UH-60.
• PIC time: 4000 hours.
• External load experience (100 ft or greater): 300 hours.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute flight assignments according to FAA regulations and company policies.
• Ensure aircraft inspections are complete and discrepancies are correctly deferred or resolved.
• Supervise the field support crew and ensure compliance with government contracts and FAA regulations.
