Soona Studios is seeking a part-time UGC Video Editor who lives in the US to turn creator-shot footage into fast, native-feeling short-form videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.

You’ll add on-trend captions, text overlays, hooks, and sound design, craft multiple variations for A/B testing, and collaborate with the content/marketing/paid social teams to optimize briefs and feedback.

Qualifications

• 1–3+ years editing UGC or influencer-style content with a portfolio.
• Strong sense of authentic pacing, captions, and hooks for short-form formats.

Responsibilities

• Edit raw UGC footage into fast-paced, native-feeling short-form videos.
• Add captions, overlays, hooks, and sound design aligned with platform formats.
• Build first-1-3 second hooks to stop the scroll.
• Create multiple variations of hooks for A/B testing.
• Stay current on UGC trends across TikTok, Reels, Shorts.
• Collaborate with content/marketing/paid social teams on briefs and feedback.
• Organize a library of footage, hooks, captions templates, and audio.
• Turn around quick edits and iterate based on performance data.
