Primoris Services Corporation is seeking an entry-level UG Lineman Apprentice in North Carolina to develop skills in installing, maintaining, and repairing underground electrical systems under supervision.

You will learn to read schematics, operate tools and equipment, and participate in trenching, pole work, and safety procedures while progressing through apprenticeship levels and responding to outages as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CDL Class A license or ability to obtain within timeframe.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Willingness to travel and work extended hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist experienced Linemen with underground electrical installations and repairs.

## UG Lineman Apprentice 1-8Apply: North Carolina: Full time: Posted Today: JR103004**Job Overview:**This entry-level apprenticeship position is designed for individuals seeking to develop the skills and knowledge necessary to become a qualified Underground (UG) Lineman. Apprentices will learn to construct, maintain, and repair underground electrical distribution and transmission systems under direct supervision. Job Responsibilities:\\*\\* \\* Assist experienced Linemen with the installation, maintenance, and repair of underground electrical cables, conduits, transformers, switches, and other related equipment. \\* Learn to identify and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and diagrams. \\* Operate and maintain various hand and power tools, heavy equipment, and specialized machinery safely and efficiently. \\* Participate in trenching, digging, and backfilling operations for underground utility installations. \\* Understand and adhere to all safety regulations, company policies, and procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). \\* Perform pole climbing, bucket truck operations, and confined space entry as required (with appropriate training and certification). \\* Assist with troubleshooting and locating faults in underground electrical systems. \\* Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and equipment inspections. \\* Participate in ongoing training and development programs to advance through apprenticeship levels. \\* Respond to emergency call-outs for power outages and system repairs as needed.
