Job summary

Barrday is seeking an Associate Machine Operator in Charlotte, NC to safely operate Uni-Directional textile machines and meet production targets as part of a self-directed team with some supervision.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years in manufacturing, strong attention to detail, good manual dexterity, and the ability to read and follow English instructions. Overtime may be required; 5S/lean practices apply.

Qualifications

• This job requires 2+ years in manufacturing production; ability to learn and follow procedures.
• Attention to safety, quality, and process discipline is essential.
• Ability to read and follow English instructions and measurements.

Responsibilities

• Start up, operate, clean up, and shut down UD machines per SOPs.
• Stage material with barcodes and maintain inventories during runs.
• Adjust equipment settings according to product requirements.
• Follow test procedures and document production data in ERP/MS Office.
• Inspect product quality and report nonconformances to QA/Engineering.
• Maintain 5S and lean practices; promote a safe work environment.
