Job summary

Framatome is seeking an Operations Supervisor in Richland, WA to lead manufacturing groups and oversee special projects. You will plan and control production activities, mentor staff, and ensure adherence to quality and safety standards across multiple shifts and programs.

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of five years’ related experience, with strong knowledge of machining and fabrication processes, as well as lean manufacturing and continuous improvement

  • Knowledge of manufacturing procedures and processes
  • Excellent communication with all levels of staff, vendors and customers
  • Understanding of machining, assembly, fabrication or production methods
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma or continuous improvement
  • Knowledge of ISO standards or industry-specific quality systems; OSHA regulations and safety protocols
  • Root cause analysis and corrective action planning

Responsibilities

  • Plans, organizes, and controls work activities to meet customer requirements and company policies.
  • Trains, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.
  • Approves timecards and participates in staffing decisions.
  • Monitors group performance to meet budget and schedule.
  • Ensures adherence to quality, regulatory, and safety requirements.

  • Provides expertise to resolve non-routine manufacturing/technical problems.

What You’ll Do Day-To-Day
  • Plans, organizes, prioritizes, monitors and controls the work activities of the group(s) in accordance with customer requirements and company policies, procedures and objectives.
  • Trains, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.
  • Typically approves employees' timecards and participates in employee selection process.
  • May recommend wage adjustment or change of status.
  • Supervises group's performance to complete work within budget and schedule.
  • Ensures staff adherence to quality, regulatory and safety requirements.
  • Facilitates implementation of workflow methods and team improvements.
  • Provides expertise to staff in resolution of non-routine manufacturing/technical problems.

What You'll Bring

Total Rewards Package

  • Salary: $94,0000 - $127,000, and may also include annual incentives and performance bonuses. The base salary range is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
