Job summary

Framatome-North-America in Richland, WA is seeking an engineer to perform design, development, analysis and testing tasks across nuclear equipment. You will resolve field problems, ensure compliance with standards, and work with senior staff on diverse engineering challenges.

Required: a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and at least 2 years of related experience; strong communication and teamwork; and advanced software tool proficiency.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do Day-To-Day
  • Perform standard and non-standard engineering assignments typically in areas of design, development, analysis, evaluation, testing, preparation of specifications, execution of field tasks resolution of field problems and resolution of quality events.
  • Solve a range of straightforward problems, analyze solutions and assess each using standard procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with government regulations, organization, industry and customer engineering standards with support of senior staff.
  • Independently evaluate, select and apply standard technical techniques, procedures, and criteria using judgement in making minor adaptations and modifications for tasks previously performed.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in Operations/Process Engineering or Maintenance Engineering
  • Experience with pellet presses or walking beam sintering furnaces
  • Experience with spare parts management, interfacing with Maintenance Craft and Operations personnel.

Total Rewards Package

Total Rewards Package

  • Salary: $97,000 - $105,000, and may also include annual incentives and performance bonuses. The base salary range is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
