Job summary

Advanced Network Consulting in Washington, DC seeks a senior UC4 Platform Engineer to design, deploy, automate, and maintain enterprise-grade batch workflows across z/OS, Linux, and Windows. You will own the UC4 environment, optimize job scheduling, and ensure SLA-driven reliability.

The role requires 5+ years of hands-on UC4 administration, strong scripting skills, and ITIL-aligned change management. On-site work with cross-functional teams will shape critical business processes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years administering Broadcom UC4 Automation in enterprise environments.
• Deep expertise in UC4 Engine, AWI, scripting language, and agents.
• Strong mainframe skills: z/OS, JCL, SDSF, JES2.
• Experience with ITIL incident and change processes.
• Ability to design, deploy and maintain mission-critical batch workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, automate, and maintain UC4 workflows across z/OS, Linux, and Windows.
• Configure and health-check UC4 agents, AE performance, and queue health.
• Package and promote scheduling objects using Transport Cases.
• Triage production incidents and perform root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for change governance.
