Job summary

Avita Health System in Bucyrus, OH is seeking a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) to join our Skilled Nursing Department at Avita Bucyrus Hospital. You will provide direct and supportive patient care under the oversight of an RN or LPN, helping with daily living activities and maintaining a safe, compassionate environment.

This part-time role requires current STNA certification; Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire; prior CNA experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Current Certification as a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) or applicable work related experience working as a nursing assistant.
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within thirty (30) days of hire date.

We’re currently seeking a dedicated State Tested Nurses Aide to join our Skilled Nursing Department at our Bucyrus location.

Position Overview

Provides direct and indirect patient care activities under the direction of an RN or LPN. Assists patients with activities of daily living, provides for personal care, comfort and assists in the maintenance of a safe and clean environment for an assigned group or patients. Must be able to float to any Avita Hospital Campus.

Qualifications

Required:

• Current Certification as a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) or applicable work related experience working as a nursing assistant.
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within thirty (30) days of hire date.

Preferred:

• Previous experience working as a nursing assistant.
