Job summary

uBreakiFix by Asurion is seeking a Store Lead to drive sales and service quality in a busy retail repair environment. You will coach technicians, manage daily operations, and ensure customer satisfaction while supporting repair workflows and store initiatives.

The role is full-time with weekend hours, offering up to $17 per hour plus monthly incentives, plus comprehensive benefits and ongoing training to advance careers within the network.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience as a Team Leader/Supervisor.
• Strong sales and customer service experience.
• Experience with device repair, including computers, laptops, tablets, phones, hardware.
• Must be able to lift and move items weighing more than 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and customer service metrics by motivating technicians and holding them accountable for performance.
• Train and develop the Tech team and act as contact for dispatched technicians.
• Implement new store processes and participate in meetings with Operational leadership.
• As Retail/Repair Tech, learn Connected Home products, advise customers, and sell protection/tech support solutions.
• Repair devices, perform pre/post-repair testing, and promote the 'Serve, Solve, and Sell' approach.

In this role, you'll serve as a Lead:

• Drive sales and customer service metrics by motivating technicians and holding them accountable for their performance.
• Demonstrate an understanding of sales behaviors and customer service best practices, ensuring that Technicians are well-versed in the Connected Home product and the 'Serve, Solve, and Sell' approach.
• Train and develop the Tech team.
• Act as the point of contact for dispatched technicians.
• Implement new processes.
• Participate in daily/weekly meetings with Operational leadership.

As a Retail and Repair Tech, your responsibilities include:

• Learning and applying the details of the Connected Home product, understanding the customer's technology, and offering and selling protection/tech support solutions.
• Consulting with customers to identify issues or explain repair procedures.
• Repairing devices, addressing cracked glass, and conducting pre- and post-repair testing.
• Applying sales experience to consistently promote the Connected Home product and employ the 'Serve, Solve, and Sell' approach.

Experience Requirements:

• Demonstrated experience as a Team Leader/Supervisor.
• Highly recommended experience in sales and customer service.
• Essential experience with device repair, including computers, laptops, tablets, phones, hardware, software, and phone screen LCD replacement.
• Past experience with ability to frequently lift and move items weighing more than 50 pounds.
• This is a full-time position with varying schedules. Working days and hours are Monday to Saturday from 10 am to 7 pm, and Sundays from 12 pm to 5 pm.

Deal-Breaker Qualifications:

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• A valid state driver's license and a clean driving record are required.
• Successful completion of a background check and drug screening.
• Flexibility to work variable hours, including weekends and evenings.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
