Job summary

Platform Aerospace is seeking an UAV Pilot II-III to support ground and flight operations of a unmanned aircraft system during stateside and overseas missions. You will operate as part of a two-man team, either as Pilot-in-Command or Flight Engineer, ensuring mission success and safety.

The role requires extensive flight planning, remote piloting, and compliance with FAA and host-nation regulations, with travel up to CONUS/OCONUS.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• 2-5 years of relevant experience (Pilot in Command hours preferred).
• Minimum of 500 hours of flight experience as a Pilot in Command.
• DoD Secret clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret clearance.
• FAA Class II Medical Certificate required.

Responsibilities

• Perform flight operation planning for customer-driven requirements.
• Conduct pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight safety checks.
• Remote piloting a UAS according to flight plans or mission objectives.
• Support flight operations outside the continental US up to 6 months.

Job SummaryUnder minimal supervision, supports the ground and flight operations of an Unmanned Aircraft System during stateside and overseas operations. Responsible for the safe operation of the aircraft and the success of mission objectives, the pilot will be a cross-functional member of a two-man team, functioning as either the Pilot-in-Command or Flight Engineer.
