Insight Global is seeking a Mechanical Engineer for a large unmanned aircraft systems manufacturer in Simi Valley, CA. The role focuses on end-to-end design of UAV vehicle components, including machined, composite, and sheet metal parts.

The engineer will work within an air vehicle IPT team, handling design challenges, testing, and documentation while coordinating with cross-functional groups to meet schedule and budget constraints.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering is required
• 2–5 years of relevant mechanical design experience

Responsabilités

• Perform vehicle design from concept to production-ready design
• Resolve design challenges and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams
• Conduct informal and formal presentations
• Assess deficiencies and impact of proposed changes using engineering principles
• Complete tasks within project schedule and budget
• Other duties as assigned
