Job summary

Griffon Aerospace in Madison, Alabama seeks an Electrical Inspector to join our quality team, supporting prototype development and production for UAV electronics. The role requires hands-on inspection of wiring harnesses and assemblies, with IPC standard knowledge and a background in aerospace/defense electronics.

You will help ensure quality across development and production environments in a full-time on-site setting.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in electrical inspection.
Experience with circuit boards and wiring harnesses.
Background in aerospace/defense industry or military electronics.
IPC standards: J-STD-001, IPC-A-610, IPC-A-620.
Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Able to work independently or in a team.
U.S. Person per ITAR and access to ITAR/CUI.
Experience in both development and production environments.

Responsibilities

Inspect wiring harnesses and electrical assemblies using engineering drawings and IPC standards.
Perform receiving inspection on harnesses and electrical assemblies from suppliers.
Document inspection results and technical findings.
Collaborate with engineering and production to identify and resolve issues.
Support both engineering prototype builds and production manufacturing efforts.
Maintain clean and organized work areas in compliance with safety and quality standards.
