Job summary

Platform Aerospace is seeking a Configuration Manager to oversee UAV configuration tracking and deliverables. This role ensures configurations align with contractual and operational requirements, maintaining CM processes and documentation across the fleet.

Responsibilities include coordinating with Engineering to track BOM changes, collaborating with Project Management on modifications, and developing metrics with QA.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor's degree in CS/MIS or related field and 5–7 years of related experience, or 11 years in lieu of education.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance.
• Exceptional attention to detail and highly organized.
• Working knowledge of engineering/configuration management (manufacturing env. preferred).
• Able to work in fast-paced, multi-task environment; collaborate effectively in a team.

Responsibilities

• Track UAV configurations and deliverables to meet customer contracts.
• Maintain inventory of all Platform Aerospace aircraft in databases.
• Update configurations per procedures or contractual requirements.
• Collaborate with Project Management to understand configuration management needs.
• Review plans, templates, drawings, and software docs for configuration integrity.
• Coordinate with Engineering to track BOM changes and alignment with requirements.
• Work with QA to develop processes for tracking failures and metrics.
• Streamline processes to improve efficiency.
• Maintain compliance documentation and report metrics to leadership.
