Job summary

BETA Technologies in Vermont seeks a Configuration and Lifecycle Management Team Leader with 10+ years of aerospace experience to drive configuration control for aircraft hardware and software, ensuring traceability and FAA compliance throughout the lifecycle.

You will collaborate with Airworthiness, Engineering, Production, and Quality, develop CM plans, maintain design configurations, lead change boards, and mentor the CM team while adopting Model Based approaches and the 3Dx/Polarian tooling.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Aerospace Configuration Management and/or Aircraft Certification
• Understanding of FAA advisory circulars and CM best practices
• Knowledge of ARP 4754A and EIA-649
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement aerospace CM plans, processes, and documentation for development and certification
• Maintain type/production design configurations for full service life
• Ensure FAA audit readiness and configuration accuracy across hardware and software
• Reflect aircraft configuration changes in Airworthiness documentation
• Lead Change Control Boards and related CM activities
• Coordinate change scope and verification across hardware and software
• Grow and mentor the configuration management team
• Train stakeholders on CM processes and systems
• Maintain and evolve MBSE tooling (3Dx/Polarian)
