Job summary

AeroVironment is seeking a Production Technician III to test and assemble Small Unmanned Aerial System products in our manufacturing facility. You will follow drawings and assembly instructions, use a variety of hand and power tools, and perform quality checks under supervision.

This role requires attention to detail, strong manual dexterity, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. ITAR/EAR compliance and safety standards apply to daily duties.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• Typically 2 years related experience in manufacturing or production.
• Experience with hand tools and basic computer operation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assemble subassemblies with hand/power tools; soldering may be required.
• Perform final assembly of ground control equipment and air vehicles.
• Test and troubleshoot subassemblies and final assemblies.
• Collaborate with engineers to improve assembly documentation and processes.
• Ensure work order protocols are followed and paperwork completed.
