Job summary

Infravision is seeking a hands-on Production & Development Technician in Austin, TX to support assembly, integration, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of unmanned aerial vehicles used in our drone-enabled transmission line operations.

You will work with engineering, production, and aviation teams to assemble complex aircraft systems, perform functional tests, diagnose issues, maintain equipment, and contribute to both product development and fleet readiness.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building complex electromechanical assemblies in regulated manufacturing.
• Soldering and wire-harness assembly to IPC standards.
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical assembly and diagnostics.
• Experience with UAV or aircraft systems is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, integrate, and commission unmanned aircraft systems and components.
• Conduct functional tests and inspections to verify performance and compliance.
• Maintain UAV fleet readiness and prepare documentation for audits.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and avionics issues with engineering support.
• Ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and quality in all activities.
• Travel as needed to support operations and production priorities.
