Job summary

Launch Consulting Group in Sacramento, CA is seeking a QA/Usability Tester to join our healthcare-focused testing team. You will contribute to usability testing, create test plans, and support UAT with analysts and end users.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year of usability testing, 3+ years in healthcare testing, strong communication, and experience with JIRA and test management tools. A bachelor’s degree or relevant certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of usability testing experience with strong communication, reporting, troubleshooting skills, and working knowledge of programming languages and development platforms.
• Relevant certification or bachelor’s degree (additional qualifying experience may substitute education on a year-for-year basis).
• Minimum 3 years of experience supporting testing activities in healthcare systems.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in functional, integration, regression testing, and defect lifecycle management.
• Minimum 3 years of experience developing test plans, test cases, test scripts, and defect reports.
• Minimum 3 years of experience documenting findings and defects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases and scripts for healthcare systems.
• Collaborate with analysts and end users to support UAT.
• Document defects and track lifecycle through resolution.
• Contribute to accessibility and regulatory-compliant testing when needed.

Candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Experience using industry-standard test management tools such as JIRA.

Experience supporting UAT in collaboration with Business Solutions Analysts, SMEs, and End Users
