Job summary

Radiance Technologies, Inc. is seeking an Aerospace Engineer to support the Test and Training Group and oversee the development and operation of UAS live targets for DE and kinetic weapon testing.

You will bridge engineering and flight operations, designing, building, and piloting platforms used in high-energy laser and HPM live-fire tests. You’ll work with multi-disciplinary teams across planning, execution, and analysis of demanding test events in lab and field settings, with opportunities to

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain a clearance.
• 2+ years of hands-on technical maintenance or field service experience.
• Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Ability to work in office and outside environments.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, modify, and maintain UAS platforms to meet target profiles.
• Remote pilot in command for UAS target flights during live-fire testing.
• Integrate sensors, telemetry, and tracking equipment on UAS platforms.
• Plan, execute, and analyze live-fire test events with engineering teams.
• Perform pre- and post-flight inspections and troubleshoot UAS hardware/software.
• Maintain flight logs, maintenance records, and build documentation.
• Fabricate, assemble, install, repair, and test electrical modules and wire harnesses.
• Write detailed test reports and share results with engineers.
• Travel up to 25% for extended assignments.
