Job summary

Zone 5 Technologies is seeking Systems Integration & Test Engineers to advance HITL environments and the integration, testing, and bring-up of new avionics and sub-systems. This hands-on role is execution-focused, working with a cross-functional team to validate signals, run MATLAB/Simulink models, and troubleshoot issues before production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
• 0–3 years of experience (internships or project experience acceptable).
• Basic understanding of embedded systems or avionics.
• Exposure to lab/test environments.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain HITL test rigs.
• Integrate avionics, sensors, and control hardware.
• Execute test scripts and model-based testing.
• Validate signals and perform basic debugging.
• Support MATLAB/Simulink model development and testing.
• Assist wiring harness fabrication and installation.
• Document test results and discrepancies.
• Assist in troubleshooting integration issues.
