Job summary

Edgewater Federal Solutions is seeking a Pilot/Technician to deploy, operate, and recover government-furnished UAS ISR platforms for continuous aerial surveillance at protective events. The role requires readiness for immediate launch, nationwide travel, and 24/7 coverage.

Candidates must hold a current FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate, be a U.S. citizen, and can obtain the necessary security clearance. Expect onsite, event-based work with potential international travel.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required security clearance; customer sponsorship may be available.
• Current FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate.
• Ability to complete customer-provided operator, policy, and platform-specific training within required timeframe.
• Experience operating UAS ISR/rapid-response platforms in surveillance, public safety, emergency response, law enforcement, military, government, or commercial environments.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, operate, and recover government-furnished UAS ISR platforms for continuous aerial surveillance of designated zones.
• Operate rapid-response UAS platforms with EO/IR cameras and relays; ready for immediate launch per timelines.
• Provide real-time video, imagery, and sensor data to operations centers and stakeholders.
