Job summary

Edgewater Federal Solutions is seeking a EUAS Pilot/Technician to deploy, operate, and recover government-furnished UAS ISR platforms for continuous aerial surveillance during protective and security events. The role requires readiness for immediate launch and nationwide/international travel, with onsite event-based coverage in Washington, DC.

The position demands FAA Part 107 certification, ability to work in high-pressure environments, and strict adherence to security and federal requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience operating UAS ISR and/or rapid-response platforms in surveillance, public safety, emergency response, law enforcement, military, government, or commercial mission environments.
• Ability to travel nationwide and internationally and support variable schedules, including 24/7 event coverage.
• Current FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, operate, and recover government-furnished UAS ISR platforms for continuous aerial surveillance of designated operational zones.
• Provide real-time video, imagery, sensor data, and operational updates to designated operations centers and authorized stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate flight records, incident logs, daily operational reports, and after-action inputs.
