Job summary

Science and Engineering Services, LLC is seeking an Instructor I, GBO to monitor air traffic and provide advisory updates to UAS flight crews to maintain safe operation, ensure separation minima, and communicate clearly by radio.

Responsibilities include preparing reports, supporting flight schedules, assisting with courseware development and training, maintaining logs, and coordinating with SMT while meeting English-language and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• TAITC or FAA equivalent preferred.
• Annual proficiency certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor air traffic and provide advisory updates to UAS flight crews.
• Support flight schedules and attend briefings when requested.
• Prepare monthly, weekly, and daily reports for the Senior GBO.
• Monitor airspace with GBSAA and suggest heading changes to maintain separation.
• Maintain logs of GBSAA supported flights.
• Assist training development of GBSAA courseware and conduct student training.
• Assist SMT with required repairs.
• Communicate clearly in English for 2-way radio operations.
• Work flexible hours for day and night flights.
