Job summary

COLSA Corporation in Huntsville, Alabama seeks a Full Stack Software Engineer to design, develop and deploy software for Unmanned Aircraft Systems. You will work across traditional and edge/embedded platforms, supporting applications to operate in connected and disconnected environments.

You will contribute to CI/CD, containerization, and offline provisioning of Linux/ARM systems, with a focus on 3D geospatial visualization using CesiumJS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, business or related field or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of related experience.
• Full-Stack development experience with TypeScript, Python and web frameworks.
• Experience in Linux and edge/embedded environments such as ARM architectures.
• Familiar with Docker and artifact/dependency management.
• Experience with GitLab CI/CD, automated builds, testing and release management.
• Active DoD Secret clearance; US Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy full-stack software applications supporting UAS and mission systems.
• Develop and manage containerized applications using Docker and related technologies.
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, integration and deployment.
• Implement 3D geospatial visualization using CesiumJS and related mapping technologies.
• May evaluate vendor capabilities to provide required products or services.
