Job summary

COLSA Corporation is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join our Huntsville, Alabama team, delivering software for Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS). You will design, develop, and deploy full-stack applications across traditional and edge/embedded environments, implement CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and offline provisioning for Linux/ARM platforms.

Ideal candidates will have 8+ years in full-stack development with TypeScript and Python, a strong Linux background, and

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, business or related field
Minimum of 8 years of related experience
Full-Stack development with TypeScript, Python, and web frameworks
Strong Linux and edge/embedded environments (ARM)
Familiar with Docker and artifact/dependency management
Experience with GitLab CI/CD, automated builds, testing, and release management
Active DoD Secret clearance; US Citizenship required

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and deploy full-stack software applications for UAS and mission systems
Develop and manage containerized applications using Docker and related technologies
Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for building, testing, integration, and deployment
Implement 3D geospatial visualization using CesiumJS and related mapping tech
Provide technical leadership on software architecture and implementation strategies
May evaluate vendor capabilities to provide required products or services
