Job summary

VNS Health seeks a Registered Nurse in New York to support audits of UAS assessments across plans, ensuring documentation is complete, accurate and compliant with regulations. You will evaluate ATSP vs UAS responses to verify home health aide hours and review reports to identify improvement opportunities.

The role requires NYS RN licensure, an Associate's Degree in Nursing, and at least two years of nursing experience in institutional, home care, or managed long-term care settings.

Qualifications

• License and current registration to practice as an RN in New York State.
• Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's or Master's preferred.
• Minimum two years' nursing experience in an institution, Home Care or Managed Long Term Care.

Responsibilities

• Reviews UAS assessments for completeness and accuracy.
• Compares ATSP vs UAS responses to validate hours.
• Reviews audit reports to identify trends and recommend improvements.
• Performs comprehensive clinical, psycho-social, and financial risk assessments.
• Maintains member confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Completes required UASNY and other plan documents on time.
• Identifies appropriate home health aide hours per guidelines.
• Participates in departmental studies and special projects.
