About the opportunity:

1. Outlier is looking for talented writers with fluency in U.S. Spanish to help train generative artificial intelligence models.
2. This freelance opportunity is remote and offers flexible hours, allowing you to work whenever it suits you.
3. Your tasks include reading U.S. Spanish text to rank responses produced by an AI model, writing short stories in U.S. Spanish on given topics, and assessing the factual accuracy of AI-generated U.S. Spanish texts.

Examples of desirable expertise:

1. Experience as a professional translator.
2. Enrollment in or completion of an undergraduate program in a humanities field or related to writing.
3. Enrollment in or completion of a graduate program related to creative writing.

Payment:

1. The current average pay rate for core project work by U.S. Spanish writing experts is USD $25.00 per hour.
2. Rates vary based on expertise, skills assessment, location, project needs, and other factors. Higher rates may be offered to PhDs. For non-core work, such as onboarding or overtime phases, lower rates may apply. Some projects may include incentive payments. Please review the payment terms for each project.
