Job summary

U-Haul is seeking friendly, energetic and motivated individuals for Warehouse Worker roles at our Frederick, Maryland location. You will operate an 8,000-lb forklift or truck-mounted forklift (training provided) and help load/unload containers for delivery and pickup at a storage facility.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver’s license with the ability to maintain a good driving record.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record.
• Adhere to local, state and federal vehicular regulations.

Responsibilities

• Operate an 8,000-lb propane forklift or truck-mounted forklift (training provided).
• Load and unload storage containers onto/off truck beds for delivery to/from a storage facility.
• Ensure timely delivery and provide customer assistance, including sale of support items.
• Prepare, receive and provide documentation for delivery or pickup of goods.
• Maintain clean, dry, and secure warehouse storage facilities.
• Participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
