Job summary

WSP USA is seeking an Environmental Project Manager to lead site investigation, remediation, and compliance projects across Texas. The role involves coordinating multidisciplinary teams, managing budgets and schedules, and serving as the primary client contact.

You will oversee field work, data interpretation, and report preparation while ensuring regulatory compliance and quality standards. Travel within Texas and occasional neighboring states is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or Geology.
• Professional Engineer (PE) or PG required.
• 7-10 years of environmental consulting experience.
• Experience managing environmental investigation, remediation, and compliance projects.
• Strong understanding of TRRP and related environmental regulations.
• Ability to travel primarily within Texas.

Responsibilities

• Manage environmental projects: site characterization, remedial design, and compliance.
• Serve as the primary day-to-day point of contact for clients and project stakeholders.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams to execute investigations and remediations.
• Perform field work including oversight of subcontractors and sampling.
• Analyze data and prepare technical reports with minimal supervision.
• Support development of remedial strategies using established principles.
• Review deliverables for regulatory compliance and quality standards.
• Monitor scope, budget, schedule, and resources.
• Communicate effectively with clients, regulators, subcontractors, and teams.
• Support proposal development, scope and cost estimation.
• Collaborate with specialists to develop practical environmental solutions.
• Travel to project sites mainly within Texas; occasional regional travel.
