Job summary

Minnesota Department of Transportation invites graduates with civil or related engineering degrees to join its two-year Graduate Engineer Training Program. You will participate in a rotation-based schedule designed to build technical, leadership, and professional skills while gaining exposure to MnDOT’s policies and structure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree completed by start date in Civil, Construction, Environmental, Geo- or Structural Engineering or closely related field from ABET-accredited college.
• Minimum GPA of 2.5.
• Valid Class D driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Rotation options include Construction, Design, Project Management, Bridge/Structures, Materials, Water Resources, and Traffic.
• Develop your rotation plan with mentors and supervisors to fit interests and career goals.
• Upon successful completion, be assigned to a permanent position as Graduate Engineer 2.

Education

ABET-accredited degree in Civil/Construction/Environmental/Geo-/Structural Engineering

Minimum GPA 2.5
