The Utah Department of Transportation invites recent graduates to apply for the Engineering Rotational Program, a four-year opportunity for non-licensed engineers with limited experience. You will rotate through design, materials, hydraulics, planning, right-of-way, structures, traffic, construction, and other areas to build broad transportation engineering expertise.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
FE exam passed OR PhD in Civil Engineering related field.
Engineer II requires 2+ years post-graduate engineering experience.

Responsabilités

Participate in activities across the engineering project lifecycle, including feasibility studies, materials research, design and concept development, scoping, environmental assessments, safety planning, specifications, scheduling, and revisions.
Assist in planning, design, construction, and maintenance of transportation facilities.
Monitor contractor performance to ensure compliance and recommend corrective actions.
Collect and review research materials, ensuring data accuracy and validity.
Prepare engineering and design documents using CAD and related software.
