Job summary

The Learning Experience in East Brunswick is hiring a Two-Year-Old Teacher to guide curious toddlers in a nurturing classroom. You will implement the LEAP Curriculum through hands-on activities, supporting language, social-emotional, cognitive, and physical development.

We seek a patient, dependable, and enthusiastic educator who fosters independence, teamwork, and positive peer interactions, while coordinating meals, rest, and outdoor play in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED.
• Experience with toddlers is a plus but not required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.
• Patience, nurturing attitude, and enthusiasm for working with children are important.

The Learning Experience - East Brunswick is hiring a caring, energetic Two-Year-Old Teacher to join our early childhood education team!

Our two-year-old classroom is full of curiosity, creativity, and exciting developmental milestones. We're looking for someone patient, dependable, and enthusiastic about helping young children learn through play.

What You'll Do

• Create a nurturing, engaging classroom environment for two-year-olds
• Implement The Learning Experience's L.E.A.P. Curriculum through hands-on, age-appropriate activities
• Support early language, social-emotional, cognitive, and physical development
• Encourage independence, self-help skills, and positive peer interactions
• Guide children through meals, rest time, outdoor play, and classroom transitions
• Use positive behavior guidance and consistent classroom routines
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom
• Communicate with families and collaborate with fellow teachers
• Follow New Jersey childcare licensing, health, and safety requirements

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Previous childcare, daycare, or preschool experience preferred, but not required
• Experience with toddlers or two-year-olds is a plus
• Patient, nurturing, dependable, and enthusiastic about working with children
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Must meet applicable New Jersey childcare licensing and background screening requirements
