Ivy Kids Tomball is seeking an energetic and nurturing Two-Year-Old Lead Teacher to join our team. The role requires experience in a licensed child care center and a commitment to consistent attendance, with hours ranging from 8:30 am to 6:30 pm in a supportive, developmental environment.

The successful candidate will deliver developmentally appropriate curriculum, maintain a warm classroom, and collaborate with a leadership team to ensure a high-quality early childhood experience for toddlers

Qualifications

• Experience in a licensed child care center.
• Ability to meet Texas Child Care Licensing requirements including background checks and training.
• Excellent communication with families and coworkers.
• Dependable and consistent attendance across shifts.

Responsibilities

• Create a warm, safe, and engaging classroom for 2-year-olds.
• Implement curriculum with hands-on, developmentally appropriate activities.
• Support language development, social-emotional skills, independence, and early learning.
• Use positive guidance and age-appropriate behavior management strategies.
• Assist children with toileting and self-help skills development.
• Maintain a clean, organized, inviting classroom.
• Communicate with families through Procare and daily interactions.
• Complete daily documentation and classroom observations.
