Job summary

Hytera US Inc. is seeking a Service Technician in Fort Lauderdale, FL to provide technical support, diagnostics, repair, configuration, and maintenance of two-way radio equipment and related systems.

You will work with the Service Manager, Sales team, and customers to ensure products are properly configured, repaired, tested, and supported throughout their lifecycle. The ideal candidate has strong troubleshooting skills, excellent customer service abilities, and experience with RF communication

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical certification in Electronics, Telecommunications, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience troubleshooting electronic equipment; experience with two-way radios, RF communications, wireless communications, or telecommunications equipment is preferred.
• Experience with component-level repair, including soldering/rework of SMD components.
• Basic understanding of RF principles, radio programming, antennas, repeaters, and communication systems.
• Experience using diagnostic equipment such as digital multimeters and communication service monitors is a plus.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and service management software.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on component-level troubleshooting and repair.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, test, and maintain two-way radios, repeaters, accessories, and related equipment.
• Configure, program, and update radios using manufacturer software and firmware tools.
• Provide technical support to customers, dealers, and the Sales team via phone, email, and remote support.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and system integration issues and escalate complex cases when needed.
• Maintain accurate repair records, service reports, and documentation.
