Job summary

The Panther Group in Flower Mound, TX is seeking an Electronics Repair Technician – Two-Way Radios for a contract assignment. The role is onsite with a pay rate of $20.00–$22.00 per hour, depending on experience. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m., start date ASAP.

You will test, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair two-way radios and related electronics, including disassembly, diagnostics, firmware checks, soldering as needed, and accurate data entry using computer applications.

Qualifications

• Experience testing, troubleshooting, and repairing two-way radios.
• Ability to use computer applications to locate firmware files, verify serial numbers, and run diagnostic and programming tests.
• Basic computer proficiency including data entry and navigating Microsoft Office.
• Ability to document and track information accurately in computer-based systems.
• Strong manual dexterity and the ability to work with small components.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble and reassemble electronic devices to identify and repair defective components.
• Perform diagnostic and programming tests using computer-based applications.
• Locate firmware files, verify serial numbers, and complete required system checks.
• Perform component-level repairs and replace electronic components as needed.
• Use soldering and desoldering equipment to repair circuit boards when required.
• Accurately enter and track repair information, test results, and other data using computer applications.
• Follow established repair procedures, quality standards, and safety guidelines.
• Work with small electronic components and tools while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
