Job summary

The Panther Group in Flower Mound, TX is seeking an RF Technician to test, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair RF transmitters, amplifiers, and PCBs used in two-way radio systems, including equipment used by law enforcement.

This role requires hands-on electronics repair, component-level soldering skills, and knowledge of RF testing equipment. The successful candidate will work at a dedicated bench repairing and testing electronic equipment to ensure reliable communications between two-way radios.

Qualifications

• Hands-on electronics repair experience with RF components.
• Component-level soldering on through-hole and surface-mount boards.
• Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics.
• Experience testing and repairing RF transmitter/receiver PCB assemblies.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret electronic schematics.
• Test, troubleshoot, and diagnose RF transmitters, amplifiers, and PCBs at the component level.
• Perform TH and SMD soldering/desoldering to repair boards.
• Use RF testing equipment (spectrum analyzers, system analyzers) to verify RF signals.
• Document repair tests and results in the tracking system.
