Job summary

DeYarman Automotive Group seeks an experienced Dealership Controller to lead accounting, financial reporting, payroll oversight and administrative controls for two IA locations (Indianola & Knoxville). You will partner with operations to deliver timely financial information and ensure compliance across all franchised brands.

The role requires multi-franchise dealership accounting experience, a Bachelor’s in accounting or related field, and strong Excel/payroll skills.

Qualifications

• Must have dealership accounting experience as a Controller or Office Manager.
• Multi-location or multi-franchise experience is highly desirable.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong understanding of payroll, tax, and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Safeguard dealership assets and maintain accurate books and records.
• Support operational leaders with actionable financial information.
• Ensure processes comply with manufacturer, lender, tax, regulatory and internal requirements.
• Supervise office operations and ensure controls across locations.
