DeYarman Automotive Group seeks an experienced Dealership Controller to lead accounting, financial reporting, payroll oversight and administrative controls for two IA locations (Indianola & Knoxville). You will partner with operations to deliver timely financial information and ensure compliance across all franchised brands.

The role requires multi-franchise dealership accounting experience, a Bachelor’s in accounting or related field, and strong Excel/payroll skills.

Qualifikationen

• Multi-location or multi-franchise experience is highly desirable.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong understanding of payroll, tax, and compliance requirements.

Dealership Accounting Controller or Office Manager Experience REQUIRED

Multi-Franchise/Multi-Rooftop Experience is a Plus

We are seeking a multi-franchise dealership Controller to lead the accounting, financial reporting, compliance, payroll oversight, and administrative control functions for two automotive dealership locations (Indianola & Knoxville, IA). Responsibilities In-Brief Include but are Not Limited to:

• Safeguarding dealership assets and maintaining accurate and timely books and records
• Supporting operational leaders with actionable financial information
• Ensuring that dealership processes comply with manufacturer, lender, tax, regulatory, and internal requirements
• Supervising office operations and ensure consistent controls are adhered to across all assigned locations

What We Seek:

• Dealership Accounting Experience as a Controller or Office Manager REQUIRED
• Multi-Location or Multi-Franchise Experience is HIGHLY Desirable!
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred - OR - Equivalent Relevant Experience
• Sound understanding of applicable sales tax, payroll, Form 8300, 1099, OSHA, unclaimed property, and dealership compliance requirements
• Advanced spreadsheet, analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated ability to lead staff, enforce deadlines, communicate with operational managers, and exercise sound judgement
• High degree of integrity, accuracy, discretion, organization, and attention to detail
• Excellent computer skills. Familiarity with Payroll software and EXCEL, Microsoft Office
• Experience with Payroll Processing, Benefits Administration, and Maintaining Employee Records
• Strong Communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to commute between 2 locations-Main Office is in Indianola, but floating between our Indianola and our Knoxville location will be required
• Schedule flexibility during month-end, year-end, inventory, payroll, audit, and regulatory deadlines
